Assessment

Already very affordable

Krones BKK is one of the cheapest insurers open nationwide. Switching purely because of the contribution is hardly worthwhile at the moment – you can still compare extra benefits.

Remuneration notice: We act as an insurance broker and may receive remuneration if a switch of health insurer comes about through our brokerage. This is paid by the receiving health insurer – there are no additional costs for you.

Ranking notice: The order of the health insurers shown may be influenced by the amount of remuneration. The comparison does not claim to include every health insurer available on the market.

Outlook 2027

Krones BKK: additional contribution 2027

Krones BKK has not yet set its additional contribution for 2027. Most insurers decide in November and December; the Federal Ministry of Health announces the official average for 2027 by 1 November 2026. As soon as the new rate is set, you will find it here.

If Krones BKK raises its rate on 1 January 2027, you can give notice until 31 January 2027 – without the 12-month minimum membership. Because insurers no longer have to write to you, the contribution alert lets you know.

Contribution alert

Your insurer no longer has to tell you when it gets more expensive. VGK24’s contribution alert will.

Since 30 July 2026, statutory health insurers no longer have to inform their members when they raise the additional contribution – but the deadline for the special right of termination still runs. With the contribution alert (“Kassenwecker”), you get an email as soon as your insurer’s additional contribution or benefits change.
